ACOE has fiscal oversight of the county’s 18 school district budgets representing over $1.96 billion (figure represents general fund dollars).

ACOE provides over 500 programs and services to district offices in all aspects of school operations, as well as teachers, administrators, parents, and community-based organizations supporting students in Alameda County.

ACOE delivers one-stop human resource/credentialing services to educators. In 2007-2008, ACOE serviced over 12,000 requests.

ACOE provides leadership in organizing regional approaches for the delivery of educational programs and support services, eliminating duplication of efforts and saving school district resources.

ACOE provides educational services to over 500 students in juvenile detention facilities and four community schools that serve at-risk youth.

This workshop is designed by high school educators and CSU English Faculty to help high school seniors develop CSU entry-level skills in English. The workshop starts on August 12, is FREE, and pre-registration is required.
