SB472 (formerly AB466) English Language Professional Development (ELPD)
This 40-hour follow-up training is designed for teachers who have completed the 40-hour initial AB 466/SB 472 training. The curriculum was developed by an eight-county consortium of seven BTTP Regional Training Centers and included curriculum writers, trainers, and EL experts specializing in CLAD, SDAIE, ELD, GLAD, AB 466, SB472, and Write curriculum and pedagogy.
In addition, the SB 472 ELPD:
- Supports effective implementation of State Board adopted materials and supplementary materials
- Qualifies for professional development required of high priority schools
