Instructional Technology
The Instructional Technology Program works with Districts to provide services in the CTAP scope of work, curriculum-enhancing resources, funding opportunities, and professional development. The Instructional Technology Leaders' Meetings were organized to promote a county-based professional learning community, enhance communication, and encourage consortium-purchase discounts. In addition, the Instructional Technology Program works collaboratively with ACOE staff on grants, projects, and professional development opportunities.
CTAP Scope of Work
Although the CTAP Region IV is no longer in operation, the CTAP (California Technology Assistance Project) scope of work is being delivered to districts in the seven county region in a county-based delivery model. The ACOE Instructional Technology Program Manager will continue to provide support to LEAs in Alameda County for:
- EETT Technology Plans. Now grooming plans expiring in June 2012.

- EETT Competitive Funding
- ARRA EETT Competitive and Formula Funding
Instructional Technology Leaders' Consortium (ITLC) Meetings
The purpose of Instructional Technology Leaders' Meetings is to provide support for districts in Alameda County to:
- Leverage state and federal education technology programs,
- Develop curriculum-driven technology plans,
- Benefit from consortium purchasing, professional development opportunities, and instructional technology resources,
- Share best practices and standards for technology integration, and grant and funding opportunities from government and corporate entities
Instructional Technology Partnerships & Professional Development Projects
- Online Teacher Learning (LEC) - Leading Edge Online Teacher Certification is a fully online course about the pedagogy and best practices for online teaching. This course will provide K12 educators with the essential skills and knowledge necessary to be an effective online instructor by creating a meaningful, engaging online learning environment.
