Notice of 2008/09 Budget Inspection and Public Hearing Date

The governing board of the Alameda County Office of Education will conduct a public hearing on their Proposed Budget for 2008/09, in accordance with the provision of Education Code Section 23103, at their regular board meeting on June 10, 2008. The meeting is called to convene at the Alameda County Office of Education, 313 W. Winton Avenue, Hayward, CA at 6:30 p.m. (note new time) and members of the public may appear before the governing board at the public hearing to speak to the proposed budget or any item therein.

The 2008/09 Draft Proposed Budget will be available for public review beginning Friday, May 23, 2008, any time between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Alameda County Office of Education, 313 W. Winton Avenue, Hayward, CA in the main lobby area.

On May 23, 2008, the budget will be available at the following public library locations:

  • Hayward Main Public Library, 835 C Street, Hayward, CA
  • Pleasanton Public Library, 400 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA
  • Oakland Main Public Library, 125 14th Street, Oakland, CA

There are three options available to provide us with your questions or comments concerning the Proposed Budget:

  • Option 1: Complete a Comment Card, available at ACOE’s main lobby facility
  • Option 2: Contact the Business Services Office at (510) 670-4273 for a Comment Card to be mailed to you, or
  • Option 3: Complete the Comment Card form and fax to LaShawn Raybon at (510) 670-3273 in the Business Services Office.
